How to create the files?
This section will talk about how the page layout should be and the type of characters to be used.
- In page layout, create the page size equal to the trim size. You should not create a bigger size and make your own crop marks.
- Only alphanumeric characters (abc, ABC, 123 etc) are supposed to be used when naming files and folders. Special characters like @, #, ?, & etc must not be used in naming files and folders.
- All the pages should be contained in a single file. The pages should not be in separate files. If the file contains multiple pages, number the pages in the sequence they should occur.
- Backgrounds and graphics which are required to be printed to the edge of the page must extend to 0.125 inch past the edge of the page. This is “page bleed”. The 0.125 inch extension will be trimmed.
- Keep all the rest of the material at a minimum of 0.25 inch away from the edge of the page.
- Do not enclose an EPS file in another EPS file. EPS files should be imported individually into the page layout.
- Don’t use the hairline rules. The rules should be made at least 0.25 pts thick.
